I draw noodle arms for my mini doodles and stuff and I can do what I fucking. I do it because it’s TOONY. When I draw more serious art then anatomy skills kick in. Get your head out of your arse
I welcome your discourse, but just because I dislike something does not mean that you aren’t allowed to like it. I am just expressing that I dislike that style. You’re welcome to do it if you wish. People have opinions, and in my opinion, I find elbows better than noodle arms. I only find noodle arms relevant in aniamtion because it is about the contrast in the structure of the arm, and the unusual motion. I feel all that is lost in simple non-animated illustrations, and as such, I just don’t like it, and I wish that people would not be so reliant on it.
Maybe you can understand my position a bit better now. I certainly hope you’re willing to be less snarky.
Your opinion on your distaste of lack of elbow joints is totally A-OK with me, that’s not my problem, hell there are things certain artists do that I am not particularly a fan of.
It’s more the case you’re saying “STOP DRAWING NOODLE ARMS” like it’s a crime of the internet. Along with your expression of your personal opinion, that I respect, you’re also enforcing that other’s opinions are wrong because they may draw or prefer a different style then your own and that they should stop.
Maybe you can understand my position a bit better now, I hope you’re certainly willing to be less whiny.
